Experience Yoga Instructor

First yoga class 1980 I was inspired by the first teacher who just did what she could do until she could do a lot that Yoga is for every BODY. You don't have to be anything. Spent a year in India in college.

What brought me back to my practice until deciding to take teacher training 2017 at Firefly yoga and then 300 hundred 2019. First training was specialized on senior accessible yoga and chair yoga. Taught at firefly and panorama teaching gentle beginners and chair yoga. What brings you back to yoga. Returning to yoga strengthens, grounds me and improves my flexibility in my life. It makes me feel better and I have seen it first hand how it can help others. Chair yoga can be for anybody at any level not just for limited mobility but because we all sit and it can change the way you sit and connect with yourself. You’ll find me in the garden and with my dogs.

ASFA Certified Personal Trainer Certified Group Ex and Cycling Instructor

I am a personal trainer and group fitness instructor here at STAC. Fitness has always been a major part of my life. Growing up, I played sports year-round, which built my passion for strength training, endurance, and overall athletic performance.

That passion has made for an easy transition into personal training where I now aim to help others push their limits and reach their fitness goals. I believe in training for both strength and longevity, combining functional movements with evidence based strength and conditioning techniques. Whether you are looking to build muscle, improve athletic performance, or just feel better in your everyday life, my goal is to provide the right guidance, motivation, and structure to help you succeed. Outside of STAC, I am working towards my Environmental Science Master’s Degree. Outside of school and work, I enjoy running, playing pickleball, mountain biking, and spending time with my husband and two dogs.

Tennis & Pickleball

Bennet

Tennis and Pickleball Pro

I am your tennis and pickleball pro here at STAC. I have been playing tennis for the past 17 years here in the PNW. My career started at varsity level tennis in high school and took off when I served as president of my university team.

The four years with my college team took me to tennis sectionals and nationals. I pull from my experience at match level for coaching. In my lessons, we will return to the foundations such as shot selection strategy and movement, which are essential for improving your game and winning matches.
When I’m not playing tennis or pickleball, I find places to hike and enjoy the outdoors. In the winter we play indoors and pull out the paints.
