My approach is informed by my more than 16 years of private practice bodywork, 250-hour yoga teacher training and personal trainer certifications. I use a blend of myofascial release, visceral manipulation, whole-body function & structural discernment, trigger point therapy, and cupping. The integration of these techniques includes better alignment and awareness of movement.
My massage approach brings about nervous system grounding and restoration to your whole being, by inviting you as an active participant using breathwork, assisted movements. This subtle engagement and curiosity can improve somatic awareness, increase range of motion, break down and rebuild movement patterns for more ease of movement.
Throughout your session I will regularly assess, noticing subtle changes in your tissue and your breath, as well as directing you to assist in these changes by moving your own body. Off the table, I enjoy using movement both traditional exercise or sports and everyday activities to teach clients practical and functional anatomy. I look forward to working with you here at STAC.
